Call for papers: Iranian Journal of Cultural Research

The Iranian journal of Cultural Research quarterly calls for research papers for the special issue:  “Computer Games”.

The Social and Cultural Research Institute public relation, affiliated with the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, announced that contributors can submit their research papers to journal webpage for peer- review. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

  • The pathology of video/computer games harmful uses by children
  • Video/computer games, lifestyle and users’ socializing patterns
  • The role of video/computer games in realizing and developing the economy of culture
  • Analyzing video/computer games consumption share of GPD of the virtual space
  • Identifying various dimensions of video/computer games through social, economic, political and military approaches
  • Examining the potential of video/computer games problem solving in diverse aspects of life
  • Future study in the cultural industries with emphasis on video/computer games
  • Enhancing the education and group/individual skills through video/computer games
  • The necessity of age classification of cultural products specifically computer/video games
